OVERVIEW: 
 
The Customer Service Representative provides exceptional service support for all inbound call queues. This support must be conducted in a professional manner, including accuracy and timeliness of the information, and must provide a positive experience for our internal and external customers. The wage for this opportunity is $18.00/hr. 
 
DUTIES: 
 
  • Handle incoming calls from members, clients, and medical facilities related to scheduling, modifying, and canceling transportation request
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward callers at all times
  • Adhere to and ensure all company policies are followed
  • Provide customer service with late vehicle services, verifying transportation provider no-shows, and reassignment to a new transportation provider if necessary
  • Defuse customer escalations by offering assurance of help to resolve issues.  If unable to resolve, ensure proper escalation procedures are followed
 
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess valid authorization to work in the United States required
  • High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required 
  • One-year related customer service experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus. 
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, Internet software, e-mail, and/or database software preferred.  Basic computer skills are required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be hospitable, guest/customer service oriented, and be willing to serve the needs of passengers.

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.  The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The majority of the work is accomplished indoors and in well-ventilated facilities. The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  The noise level in the environment is moderate.
