Bus Attendants will be responsible for:  
  • Greets all passengers in the loading areas in a courteous and enthusiastic manner.
  • Keeps complete focus on their area and other monitors other team member’s activities and 
    communicates effectively instructions as they become available.
  • Keeps the loading areas clear of all items that could pose a safety danger to the staff or passengers and 
    reports to their supervisor immediately.
  • Notifies road supervisors/management of deviations, overloads, accidents, passenger incidents, 
    medical/behavioral problems.
  • Works in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or management.
Qualifications   
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Early morning availability
  • Judgement/problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage high degrees of stress
  • Must have excellent communication skills and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be available to work shifts that can start at any hour (24 hours) and on any day.
  • Must read and understand bus rotation and customer service plan and maps.
  • Must be able to work without direct supervision and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to stand outdoors in widely varying temperatures and environmental conditions.
