Call Center / Dispatch / Reservationist / Scheduler Portland, OR


Description

Responsibilities:  
o  Route together all reservations based on scheduled times and pickup locations.
o  Ensure routes are put together in a clean tight fashion so that operators can make pickups within the allowed time to meet service standards.
o  Use tools to find addresses, quote fares, and find zip codes. Can read a map, check flights, and make necessary changes as needed.
o  Keep the Lead Dispatch and Operations Supervisor informed of all unusual situations as they occur.
o  Maintain communication with supervisors, Operators/Drivers, and passengers as needed.
o  Answer all customer and or operator/driver inquiries/problems in a quick and efficient manner.
o  Confirms all no-shows.
o  Handles all run deviation requests
o  Monitors available, unavailable, inbound, outbound, soon-to-clear vehicles to ensure proper coverage for available business.
o  Informs oncoming shift and relief dispatchers, lead dispatcher, operations supervisors of all important information
o  Maintain good attendance.
o  Adhere to all policies and procedures
o  Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge Required: 
o  Customer service, or related experience. Will receive on-job-training in dispatch services.
o  Be able to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.

o  Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
o  Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within your department.
o  Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
o  Maintain a positive attitude promoting SuperShuttle and its services.
o   Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
o  Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
o  Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
o  Ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team environment.
o  Excellent communication skills verbal and written with the ability to prepare and submit reports.
o  Excellent basic business skills: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Pre-Employment Requirements: 
o  Mandatory drug testing and background check
Physical Requirements: 
o  Occasionally standing, walking, squat/kneel, bend, reaching above shoulder
o  Constantly sitting
o  Frequent reaching outward
o  Lifting of 10lbs or less (occasionally)
