We are Now Hiring a Inventory Manager in Rockville, Maryland!

Responsibilities:
- Insure invoices show correct pricing and are properly coded for payment.
- Insure all invoices have been processed for months-end reporting
- Track and enforce warranties for parts and services.
- Identify trends, insure sufficient supply of parts and consumables for special projects, campaigns, and weather related events/seasons.
- Insure the needs of the staff are met in a timely manner.
- Work with Vendors to find the best pricing and to negotiate purchasing contracts for equipment, parts, services, and supplies.
- Buyer for goods and services needed by the centralized Maintenance Department for timely work order completion (create purchase requisitions, expedite orders as needed, and follow up on order fulfillment).
- Identify, buy for, and Maintain proper levels of inventory to avoid project and maintenance down time.
- Support and direct field operations managers with purchasing needs / requests
- Annual physical Inventory counts and monthly cycle counts
- Work with accounting to reconcile physical inventory to system counts.
- Responsible for keeping the purchasing database up to date and accurate
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
