Customer Service Representative (Bilingual)

Description

  • Answers incoming calls to the customer service team. - Receives customer inquiries and complaints. - Answers questions and provides information about services. - Clearly and accurately documents issues. - Resolves customer inquiries relating to transportation; communicates resolution to customers. Other duties as assigned.
  • Experience Preferred: - Up to 2 years of customer service or basic office experience preferred.  Skills and Knowledge Required: 2 years customer service or basic office experience preferred - Basic to intermediate computer knowledge/PC experience required - Proven interpersonal skills dealing with the public required - pleasant telephone voice/manner required - Strong verbal communication and listening skills are required.
  • Must be bilingual, proficient in speaking and understanding English and Spanish. - Ability to communicate well via the written word or verbally -
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and exhibit good interpersonal skills with others, at all levels both internal and external -
  • Must be able to deal patiently and friendly with external customer problems and complaints and remain courteous when faced with difficult or angry customers -
  • Must be a team player yet able to work well independently - Must be able to work on various shifts or flexible work schedules -
  • Must have familiarity of local service area

  • 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities - Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer - The work environments are generally noisy, and the employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen - Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and repetitive hand-wrist motion.
