About the Role: Serves as an integral member of the Operational Performance Team responsible for the training, implementation, and support of Transdev’s operational applications systems. Reports to the Sr. Manager, Operational Operations Applications.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
•    Provide onsite training and support to implement Transdev Operational systems including VDS, Mobi-Services, Time Keeping Portal, Command Console, and other operational systems at Transdev locations. 
•    Work with the Applications Implementation Leads to ensure that the systems are functioning for the location within standard operating parameters and requirements. 
•    Provide onsite support and training for contract startups and shutdowns.
•    Provide remote assistance and training to locations. 
•    Assist in the development and review of training materials, guides, checklists, and other documentation as needed. 
•    Review and test software systems, payroll rules as needed and requested. 
•    Work closely with the locations and project managers to identify areas for opportunity and improvement.  
•    Provide training and support for the sites can drive continuous incremental improvement. 
•    Provide training and support for locations that have deficiencies and deviations from best practices or Standard Operating Procedures.
 
Education, Licensing, and Certifications: 
Education Required:
 
This position requires High School diploma or GED.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or) work experience equivalent to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
 
Experience Required:
Must have direct experience in providing software systems training at a local level.   Knowledge of change management disciplines is preferred.  

Skills and Knowledge Required
•    Analytical problem-solving skills along with ability to solve problems in a practical and pragmatic manner.
•    Ability to work efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision.
•    Proficient knowledge and skill required with Windows operating system and MS Office programs.  Ability to use and master specialty transit-related software applications.
•    Ability to manage direct staff, coordinate and assign schedules, oversee and critique work and provide direct supervision.
•    Ability to manage project staff, evaluate work, and providing coaching and support.
•    Ability to use and master specialty transit related software. 
This position will require the ability to travel to the corporate location various field locations (75%).

Physical Requirements:
•    This position will be based at our Lombard, IL Headquarters, however given the nature of extensive field support and related travel, the position’s base can be considered from alternative major metropolitan markets.      
•    Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
•    100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
•    The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
