The Position of Onboarding & Implementation Lead is responsible for managing the onboarding, implementation, training, and support of Transdev’s key operational systems.  The position requires the ability to manage multiple onboarding and implementations projects and is critical in the overall success of Transdev Operations.

This role is centered in Lombard, Illinois; however, qualified applicants residing in other locations will be considered.

Salary Range: $62,200-$77,000 annually

Project Management

  • Serve as the primary project manager to Transdev locations while coordinating multiple, simultaneous implementations of operational applications including MobiServices, TKP and VDS.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations and deliverables to internal and external project team members in a timely and clear fashion. 

Training

  • Develop training material, guides, standard operating procedures, checklists, and curriculum that supports new users as they develop proficiency with Transdev applications during the implementation period.
  • Implement a standard training plan that deploys a variety of asynchronous and live/virtual instruction methods.
  • Provide user training and onboarding that bolsters the effective use of the software, operations, and best practices across all Transdev locations.
  • Monitor software usage compliance and address any gaps through targeted interventions and feedback. 

Product Configuration

  • Share Transdev's standard rules and processes for using operational applications and all relevant instructions on how to access documentation and help after the implementation period.
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams to resolve and report technical product issues, test new features, and communicate updates to Transdev locations
  • Work with Transdev locations to identify and configure specific business rules for contractual and legal compliance. Collaborate with Business Solutions to configure customizations during the implementation period, and train local staff on how to use them.

Onboarding/Customer Success

  • Prepare Transdev locations for a successful application launch and adoption period.
  • Understand existing processes and recognize and propose changes to improve quality of service and accelerate timelines as well as share best practices and product knowledge with peers and team members.
  • Elicit feedback from the customer relating to the project implementation, end-user adoption, and satisfaction with the product during and after implementation.

  • Has a blend of technical experience and people skills, excelling at managing relationships that are technology focused to create business efficiencies.
  • Ability to listen attentively to customer (stakeholder) inquiries and concerns and resolve them completely.
  • Ability to translate and effectively communicate broad operational concepts into actionable information.
  • Ability to customize training materials to effectively teach employees with different skills, abilities and motivation levels
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised with sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Has a sense of urgency, is action-oriented and results driven.
  • Works well in both individual and team environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and deal with time pressures and daily system problems.
