Human Resource Administrator

Overview:
The HR Administrator provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, handling day-to-day operations and maintaining employee records and HR systems. This role serves as the first point of contact for basic HR inquiries and supports various HR processes including onboarding, payroll administration, and document management. Working under the direction of the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Provides clerical support to staff
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries
  • Responsible for maintaining active and terminated employee files and conducting annual audit of same
  • Responsible for setting up users with HR vendors
  • Enters new hire data and employee life cycle changes into the human resources information system and time tracking system
  • Review and reconcile invoices received for HR and remit for approval
  • Maintain and update all required forms dealing with but not limited to employment & wage verifications, unemployment claims and WOTC
  • Point of contact for Corporate HR communication
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information
  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations
Payroll and Time Management Responsibilities:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and validate employee timesheet submissions
  • Reconcile timesheet discrepancies with employees and managers
  • Maintain accurate records of paid time off, sick leave, and other time-off requests
  • Other duties as required
Required Education and Experience:
  • Must be 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of relevant office experience required
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources preferred
  • ADP experience preferred
  • Payroll processing experience strongly preferred
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of basic human resource practices, including human resource compliance and regulatory environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and wage/hour regulations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with payroll systems and time-tracking software
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment, in fast-paced, high stress environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with numbers
