Transdev is a leading transportation solutions provider, committed to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient services. We seek a dedicated General Manager to oversee our airport shuttle operations in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors Operations for Compliance:
- Supervise road operations and staff to ensure on-time, safe, and consistent performance in compliance with client contracts, CBA, and company standards.
- Ensure shuttle drivers comply with all licenses, IDs, appearance, contact, schedule, and hygienic standards.
- Regularly ride buses to perform driver ride checks, review safety procedures, and ensure equipment is in place.
- Perform safety engagements and ensure operations run on schedule and meet requirements.
- Track trip performance to ensure on-time performance, route adherence, and routine safety measures.
- Regularly visit all parking lots and garages to ensure operational and safety compliance.
- Anticipate and manage weather and crises in coordination with the management team and weather/crisis plan.
- Coaches Subordinates:
- Counsel, coach, and supplement training for drivers, field operations supervisors, and dispatchers.
- Perform daily ride checks and safety engagements.
- Regularly inspect holding lots and all buses/vehicles to ensure proper parking, use of the Geotab tagging procedure, cleanliness, and vehicle shutdown when not in use.
- Continually observe and correct employee uniform and certification requirements, including properly wearing airport security badges and carrying valid CDL and medical cards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing transportation operations.
- Possess or the ability to obtain a Florida CDL B
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent knowledge of compliance and safety standards.
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in supervising road operations and staff.
- Familiarity with client contracts, CBA, and company standards.
- Ability to perform safety engagements and ensure operational compliance.
- Proficiency in tracking trip performance and ensuring on-time performance.
- Experience in managing weather and crisis situations.
