Overview of Position:
The Transdev Business Solutions Team is a diverse cross-functional team of IT, Transit Operations, and Administrative Support professionals. The team designs, develops, implements, supports, and optimizes the commercial and proprietary business technology solutions at Transdev. Focused on innovation and customer service, Business Solutions Staff support the platforms and users that drive continued improvement in Transdev’s operations.
Reporting to the Director of Business Solutions, this fully remote position plays a vital role in supporting the Transdev timekeeping solution. This position requires strong technical skills, good communication, attention to detail, curiosity, and coachability.
Salary Range:70.000-80,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct the analysis, verification, development, and implementation of payroll rule changes for existing contracts to ensure accurate payroll calculation.
Ensure that the timekeeping system is correctly calculating and is compliant with system policies, applicable laws, and contractual bargaining agreements.
Collaborate with Business Solutions staff and other departments on required changes to contract rules.
Review, write, test, validate, and support payroll and accrual rules in the timekeeping system.
Troubleshoot issues related to the time keeping system and resolve concerns as well as recommend necessary fixes.
Coordinate, monitor and manage the maintenance of the timekeeping system to ensure as close to 100% up time as possible.
Work with Business Solutions and other staff to develop SOP’s, documentation and best practices for time management.
Provide training and assistance to locations with new management staff utilizing Transdev’s timekeeping system.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
At least five years of experience with payroll processing and analysis.
At least three years of experience writing, programming and supporting payroll rules in ADP E-Time or similar system.
Strong analytic and quantitative skills.
Detail oriented with a strong attention to detail.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
A collaborator with excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion and judgement.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Travel requirement outside of immediate area (as a percent) <10%.

Previous experience with Transdev VDS is highly valued, but not required

Physical Requirements:
This position is a hybrid role based in our Lombard, Illinois office.
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
