Maintenance Clerk
Description
The Maintenance Clerk at Transdev correctly records data to ensure the Maintenance Department is able to maintain the bus fleet in safe operating condition, and assists in satisfying the material needs of other internal and external customers as needs arise. This position leads the process of body shop repairs on vehicles; tracking accidents, coordinating repairs inside and outside the organization, and some billing. The Maintenance Clerk may also be asked to order supplies as needed. The pay is $23-27/hour.
Duties:
1. Enters daily data for the Maintenance Department.
2. Maintains information regarding life history of all vehicles and their repairs, including their DVIRs, PMs, and Work Orders.
3. Processes reports for management and the client, as requested.
4. Provides support for the Management and Human Resources Department, as necessary.
5. Ensures the cleanliness of office area, files, and office supply storage.
6. Executes special projects, as requested.
7. Other duties as assigned.

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ability to write simple correspondence.
3. Ability to utilize standard computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
4. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work well unattended for periods of time.
5. Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, if required.
6. Some knowledge of parts and tools needed to repair diesel equipment preferred.
7. Excellent phone communications skills and an ability to create and maintain interpersonal relationships inside and outside the organization.
8. Demonstrated ability in working with standard office machines including, but not limited to fax, copy machine, printers, computer, and email.
9. Must complete and sign the Transdev Services employment application in its entirety.
10. Must provide a complete and verifiable employment history and employment history must be verified with all employers listed in the application and must include the past 10 years of employment, when applicable.
11. An unjustified refusal to supply requested information or a falsification of information will result in the elimination of the applicant for consideration for employment.
12. Must sign a background release form.

-Most of this work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
-A smaller portion of this work is accomplished in an open-garage facility outdoors.
