Serves as First Line supervisors for Drivers, customer response, driver field evaluation and accident first-responders.
 
  • Supervises, counsels, coaches, and trains drivers and dispatchers. Monitors pull ins, pull outs, on time performance, incidents, radio etiquette etc… 
  • Monitors and evaluates operations activities. Ensures that drivers are performing assigned duties correctly and safely and they meet all job requirements.
  • Prepares operational reports, attendance trackers, trip editing, and any other operational reports as needed.
  • Handles incidents and accident procedures.
  • Directs Road Supervisors as needed.
  • Addresses customer complaint responses and reporting.
  • Meets all driver qualifications at location. 
  • Must be able to perform all road supervisor’s duties. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Experience and Skills Required
  • 1 to 3 years transportation, safety, or related experience
  • Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials and public, fluent in English.
