Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops.
- Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently.
- Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment.
- Follow a planned route according to a time schedule.
- Obey traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations.
- Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns.
- Adhere to company policies and rules.
- Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.
- Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 2 years minimum of driving experience.
- A valid Nevada drivers’ license in good standing
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Be punctual with an emphasis on attendance.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test if you are accepted into the program.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- 100% of work is accomplished outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; most work is performed alone and in remote locations.
- Frequently stands and walks; ability to sit for up to three hours; walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces; normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; ability to lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with assistance; ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch; and corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication.
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
- Must be able to travel for company training, meeting or support missions.
