Position Title: Staff Analyst (Vendor Relations), Emerging Talent Intern 
Hourly Rate: $19.00 (Undergraduate) 
  
All internship positions are onsite and require regular, in-person attendance at the designated work location. 
  
OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT: 
There are 3 groups within Vendor Relations: Vendor Performance, Procurement Accountability and Inspections & Testing, tasked with determining if a vendor is responsible to be considered for as an MTA vendor, based on its business experiences & stability, past performance & technical ability, financial condition, moral integrity & ethics, and its safety record. 
  
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Actively support the 2024 VENDEVAL campaign by outreaching to project managers to obtain outstanding VENDEVAL evaluations 
  • Identify and coordinate correct program manager access in Archer to streamline and accelerate completion of evaluations 
  • Assist in the validity of the data for the 2025 VENDEVAL evaluation campaign, scheduled for rollout 2Q2026 
  • Test reporting integrity and data quality to aid in providing accurate data to management 
  • Track project progress and provide weekly status reports to management 
  • Continue to gather and formulate FAQs for posting to the VENDEVAL intranet page 
  • Maintain follow-ups on outstanding prior-year evaluations to ensure continued progress 
  • Participate in AI training and meetings to explore opportunities for process improvement and more automation 
  
  
PROJECTS: 
  • Outreach to project managers via TEAMS and email and follow-up, as required, to ensure accurate submissions of outstanding evaluations. 
  • Formulate VENDEAL FAQs for posting to the intranet page. 
  • Provide daily statistics to supervisor resulting from the outreach to project managers and provide weekly status reports to management. 
  
  
  
  
 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat is a must. 
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus. 
  • The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.  
  • The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player. 
  
  
REQUIRED EDUCATION: 
  • Matriculated in an undergraduate program in good standing with at least 2.5 GPA 
  • Major(s) Preferred: Computer Information Systems, Project Management, or related field.
