SUMMARY

The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Team at the MTA’s Department of Subways (DOS) is seeking talent for the position of EAM Divisional Manager.
The EAM Team is responsible for overseeing the software (Hexagon EAM) that manages the lifecycle of all major assets, from acquisition, maintenance, repair, replacement, to the eventual retirement of those assets. Our team has been successful in reducing operational downtime, reducing costs, increasing operational efficiency, improving safety, ensuring compliance, improving data integrity, and providing useful, real-time analytics to senior management for improved decision-making.  Our vision is to become the industry leader in Enterprise Asset Management and Maintenance Management. 
 
The Divisional Manager will be responsible for supporting the EAM Program as the primary liaison between the field and the EAM program for data management, design, Quality Control, testing, and supporting the company-wide Enterprise Asset Management effort.  They will also be leading key projects and rollouts of new users to Hexagon EAM from initiation through rollout.  This will include interacting with all levels of employees to gauge their needs and assisting with designing solutions that fit those needs. 
  
RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
The Divisional Manager is responsible for supporting long term EAM project goals and division sustainment needs such as asset updates, data quality, usage analysis, changed reporting needs and day-to-day support. In addition, they will:
  • Provide direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and control of new EAM projects, ensuring consistency with Subways EAM program strategy, commitment and goals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to both elicit support and report on progress.
  • Facilitate training for new employees and newly deployed projects
  • Coordinate distribution of mobile devices for data entry.      
  • Support the EAM Program as a technical resource for data analysis and management.
  • Assisting in the design, communication and rollout of new EAM projects, occasionally leading projects from start to finish
  • Liaison between the user groups and the technical team
  • Prepare reports, charts, graphs, maps, and drawings to communicate data findings.
  
  
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION 
 
  • A Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, or satisfactory equivalent, along with six years of related work experience, including three years of supervisory experience
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of employment, from hourly employees to senior management, both written and verbal 
  
DESIRED SKILLS 
  
  • Previous project experience related to public transportation or urban infrastructure systems
  • Knowledge of HxGN, Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge & appreciation of New York City Transit system
 
  
SELECTION METHOD 
  
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
 
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
