COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $141,462 - $176,827
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is accountable for providing effective and efficient administrative and operational support services to the General Manager and all division/depot locations in the areas of maintenance, transportation, administration, facilities, quality performance and co-dependent operational activities. Identify problems and develop short and long-term solutions in order to ensure the achievement of operational and administrative goals. Direct the research and develop responses to passenger, community or agency-based inquiries and provide a full range of customer relations services and outreach programs. Provide short- & long-term strategic planning services. This title will be used in the following divisions: Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx, SI, Mtce., Transportation, Quality Performance, and Facilities
Utilize operations analysis and performance measurement techniques to evaluate critical areas of depot/division operations. Develop, implement and manage strategic programs to implement business changes and new initiatives that will achieve short and long-term operational movement.
Oversee the effective implementation and coordination of borough/division-wide activities including budget and goal development, picks, schedule development, shuttles, resource allocation, evaluation of internal controls, etc. Supervise staff in system development utilization.
Act as liaison with NYCT and MTA officials, government authorities, public officials and union officials on issues relevant to borough/division operations including special events coordination.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college in business administration, and Twelve (12) years of related experience, including a minimum of five (5) years of managerial/ supervisory experience.
- A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in
lieu of a degree
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Broad knowledge of bus operations.
- Must have the ability to analyze problems, both short and long-term and recommend and implement solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Must possess PC skills including Word, Excel, and Access.
