WebMD’s brand studio (DNA) creates custom content for our advertising partners with a focus on health and wellness. We are looking for a talented digital designer to join our growing team and support the consumer design team at large. The Lead Designer will report directly to the Senior Creative Director, developing and directing branded content experiences, creating custom ad creative and rich media units, and supporting pre-sale marketing initiatives. This individual will be responsible for ideating and supervising diverse creative executions including UI/UX web experiences and producing cutting edge visual design for infographics, slideshows, and pitch materials. The Lead Digital Designer must have an eye for amazing design, will be creative, organized and nimble; working cross-functionally with our development team and Account and Project Management groups. The Lead Digital Designer will help ensure that DNA’s creative vision is carried through all aspects of our creative and will work to evolve the brand identity. They will be a self-starter who is highly invested in the growth of the business.



  • Execution of and design direction for sold programs, partnering with producer and development groups to ensure creative pull through
  • Has a deep understanding of user experience design as well as ability to communicate proposed technical functionality to act as an advocate for the experience throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conceptulizes and directs user interface design
  • Defines and implements design guidelines
  • Keeps up with design/UX trends
  • Constantly evolves design skills and sensibility
  • Coordinates with external vendors for file hand off and receipt

Digital Design

  • Stock imagery research for post-sale client slideshows and site design support
  • Infographic design and development
  • Creative ideation for new ways to visualize concepts, experiences, mocks and new tools
  • Creation of dynamic presentations
  • Image compositing for creative concepts
  • Moodboard creation
  • Provides digital production oversight for all stages of technical builds


  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in UX and/or Digital Design
  • 5-8 years in a diverse mix of industries
  • Deep understanding of responsive design
  • Experience working in branded content a plus
  • Proficient technical skills related to design and presentation programs:
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • Sketch
    • Zeplin
  • Strong knowledge of presentation programs a plus
    • Powerpoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse cross-functional teams and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience and/or interest in supporting new business initiatives
  • Illustration/infographic experience a strong plus
