This role is part of the Impact & Insights team of Medscape Education. This role is responsible for the analysis and reporting of reach and impact of online education activities targeting Medscape’s physicians and healthcare professionals. The outcomes reports provide analysis of knowledge, competence, and behavioral impact as a result of participation in continuing medical education (CME) programs. This role ensures data from CME Outcomes reports are appropriately summarized and strategically-focused within the agreed timeline. This role also requires supervision experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams including sales, content, clinical strategy, and analytics and may present to external funders. 
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, organization, communication, writing, and project management skills to develop reports for in collaboration with internal and external clients to support sales and revenue goals. They must have a proven ability to meet deadlines, while being proactive and detail-oriented.  
Responsibilities include: 
Provides highly skilled analysis and writing support to ensure data from CME Outcomes projects are appropriately summarized, strategically-focused, and completed within agreed priorities and timeline to the highest quality and with little to no supervision. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to: 
  • Supervise and mentor a team at least 1 research associate 
  • Collaborate with clinical strategists, content writers, and data analysts to create content for reports 
  • Compile, write, and edit outcomes reports summarizing quantitative and qualitative analysis results that are aligned with educational objectives and project goals 
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams regarding project status and individual roles/responsibilities through email and project management tools (e.g., WorkFront) 
  • Work closely with the Data Analytics team to provide enhancement suggestions and assist with troubleshooting 
  • Provide feedback on outcomes deliverables to improve and enhance their quality 
  • Maintain and enhance reporting template(s) and customize as needed using reporting tools such as Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Ensure deliverable, messaging and branding is consistent across business units and its products  
  • Demonstrate competency regarding all outcomes and insights measurement products 
  • Maintain a friendly and productive relationship through clear articulation and an effective communication style with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement  
  • May present to grant supporters with sales team 

  

Qualifications: 
  • BA/BS with 5+ years of relevant experience or MA/MS with 3+ years of relevant experience after degree completion 
  • Superior ability to describe complex data and results to a non-technical audience both in verbal, written, and visual formats 
  • Excellent technical writing skills 
  • Experience evaluating interventions or programs (healthcare experience preferred) 
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment, while taking into consideration stakeholders based across multiple time zones 
  • Positive attitude/ very high energy with a willingness to accept varied assignments with a customer centric approach 
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a dynamically changing environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience working on shared networks and cloud-based systems 
  • Moderate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint  
  • Experience with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or related software 

  

Preferred Experience 
  • Advanced degree in relevant field 
  • Proficiency with SQL 
  • Experience in health or education-related research or in certified medical education. This may include medical education/communications company, professional medical publisher, academic institution/ hospital/university center, medical society, etc.
