This position is within the Medscape Global Network, which encompasses Medscape, Univadis, coliquio, MediQuality, QxMD, Guidelines, JIM.fr, and Grupo Saned, collectively reaching over 6.5 million active physicians and 13 million healthcare professionals (HCPs) globally.
 
What we’re looking for
Medscape Global is in search of a dynamic Director of Medical Education to join our London sales team. This business-critical role focuses on selling Medscape’s distinctive suite of independent medical education products and solutions to medical affairs teams within global and regional pharmaceutical organisations.
The successful candidate will embody a client-centric approach, fostering and developing existing commercial relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
The role is supported by industry leading clinical strategy, client services, marketing, and operational teams to ensure your success.
Regular travel, primarily within Europe and occasionally to the USA and elsewhere, is expected for client meetings and medical conferences.
 
What you’ll bring to the role
The ideal candidate will possess strong business development and relationship building skills, expertise in selling healthcare solutions and will be given autonomy to acquire, manage and expand client accounts across designated territories and related subsidiaries worldwide.
  • A minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record in selling to and collaborating with major regional and global pharmaceutical companies.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful sales to senior brand managers and/or medical teams within pharmaceutical companies and leading advertising agencies.
  • Proficiency in digital media, advertising, and educational activities within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and experience engaging effectively with senior management of prospective organizations.
  • Ability to sell strategically, fostering deep and enduring client relationships built on value and trust
  • Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous
