Description:
WebMD/Medscape is looking for a qualified Marketing Manager to join our B2B Marketing Team in the Newark, NJ office or remotely. The Medscape Education Marketing Team produces communications and sales materials in the healthcare education market. This role will be responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing plans targeted toward healthcare industry professionals and leading sales enablement efforts such as developing sales tools and training, and presentation materials. The candidate will be comfortable with receiving constructive feedback and demonstrate an ability to take direction. 
 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Create and execute on strategic marketing plans for assigned verticals
  • Work closely with the sales team to proactively to support requests
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions with cross-functional colleagues to generate ideas for new marketing campaigns
  • Create highly effective communications for internal sales team to rollout strategic initiatives
  • Create competitive materials to respond to industry changes (SWOT analysis, competitive positioning)
  • Support sales training efforts
  • Lead management of internally-hosted marketing events and external conference booths
  • Prepare regular reports and evaluation of marketing efforts
  • Manage team budget and identify efficiencies in marketing processes

Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years of related work experience, preferably in a healthcare B2B environment
  • Marketing degree, Diploma in Marketing or equivalent B2B experience 
  • Social Media marketing experience
  • Event management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to support sales teams
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or experience managing design vendors a plus
