Medscape is seeking a highly skilled, results-oriented head of project management to
provide overall leadership and management for the Global Project Management team.

The Position: The head of project management will report to the Executive director, Global
Client Services. The position is based in London UK and the global team is spread across
the USA, UK, France and India.

Duties and Responsibilities, Project Management Leadership:

Provide management, leadership, and ensure quality of delivery of the full global
projects portfolio.
Fast learner demonstrating the ability to navigate overall Medscape operating process
rapidly
Meeting with a broad range of internal teams to support and drive any issue resolution
on timelines
Leading or supporting the PM team on any complex internal KO meetings, requirements
meetings, internal review meetings.
Partnering with Account Team members to plan complex integrated campaigns
Supporting overall Business revenue goals
Working with internal departments to streamline processes for more efficient executions;
Coordinate with internal teams to create processes and systems to ensure effective
project management and implementation across the organization.
Direct the activities of the Project Management Unit and determine how team resources
should be allocated across projects.
Demonstrated leadership, ethics, and sound judgement, both independently and as part
of a team.

Selection Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or will consider related experience
5 - 10 year experience with:
○ Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a combination of
digital, agency and healthcare
○ Minimum of 2 years in a lead project management position
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, responsible and result driven, solid in
both analytical & communication skills
Excellent organization, planning and documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, task
management systems like WorkFront, GSuite)
Additional desired, but non-mandatory, skills:
Additional European languages with professional proficiency
Knowledge of marketing-related creative and digital processes (marketing or agency
experience preferred, especially pharmaceutical industry)
Experience with medical/legal review process within pharmaceutical industry; equivalent
experience in a highly regulated industry may substitute
Familiarity with HCP-focused clients
Demonstrated leadership, ethics, and sound judgement, both independently and as
part of a team.

Conditions: Employment contract will be for an initial 12 month term
