Collaborate closely with the Audience Engagement team to manage and coordinate marketing tactics within strategic plans for ongoing engagement, acquisition, global validation and other marketing initiatives. More specifically:
1. Develop a strong understanding of the membership data for the Top 8 countries in order to
manage and execute key channel strategies to target the right audience
2. Work closely with manager to manually verify global members still pending through collecting
outstanding data and manually verifying their identification status
3. Orchestrate and track marketing campaigns and oversee deployment of direct response
tactics (ie. onsite banners, paid search, paid social)
4. Analyze tactic performance and adjust marketing campaigns to optimize results (ie. weekly
content mailers such as Quizzes, Case Challenges, Exclusive News)
5. Collaborate with internal team to develop and test email assets (e.g. new email templates) for
current/new products and countries
6. Manage and execute on custom email target lists for separate promo programs and
marketing campaigns (ie. work with manager and promo to test in-language EED and other
target lists to meet their goals)
7. Manage email processes for timely execution of promotional materials (ie. conference
mailers, conference targeting through paid social and paid search)
● Analyze activity performance and channel response rates on a daily basis for stakeholders
such as editors, product and other marketing members
● Track and disseminate Key Performance Indicators monthly to inform and support business
decisions (ie. such as traffic and membership goals)
● Create documentation around new processes derived from email testing results (ie. work
closely with email marketing team to create a global process)
● Collaborate with Audience Engagement team to develop comprehensive onsite and social
media campaigns to drive site engagement
● Work with internal teams and senior management to share marketing/audience data, as well
as provide insight into new market trends and methods that may improve marketing
● Support the global marketing team by coordinating and tracking marketing plans
● Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing or related field or equivalent relevant work expierence
● 3-5 years proven experience with digital marketing or brand organization; preferred content
publishing experience
● Experience supporting successful lifecycle programs at premium digital publishers
● Demonstrable experience managing marketing databases, email, mobile apps, social media
and/or digital marketing campaigns
● Ability to write and communicate business and technical requirements for on-site initiatives
● Highly creative with experience in identifying and optimizing target audiences and devising
digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
● Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
● Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
(ex: Omniture; Google Analystics, Optimizly, Adobe Analytics, or the like)
● Ability to follow brand guidelines and brand voice; Expert in creating a product/campaign
narrative with a focus on online traffic generation, audience development and CRM functions
● Highly motivated & self-starter who bleeds initiative & can easily prioritize short & long-term
projects; ability to establish new processes & workflow optimizations.
● Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

● Exceptional communication & presentation skills and the ability to work across multiple
business units and with various stakeholders (oral, written & visual)
