Responsibilities:

WebMD is seeking an  Associate Director to join our Programmatic and Data Solutions team. This position will work to support WebMD’s programmatic revenue growth and operational responsibilities across our programmatic channels and data management partners.  The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management and yield management skills while also possessing the ability to leverage their communication and problem solving skills to drive revenue growth across our programmatic partners. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of WebMD’s data management platform implementation while developing WebMD’s data strategy.  Extreme attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines, and a willingness to adapt to the ever-changing programmatic landscape are traits exhibited by the ideal candidate.  Additionally, this individual should be comfortable analyzing data and extracting insight from it.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Growing programmatic advertising revenue by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with key SSP and header partners
  • Advocating for SSP partners within WebMD, serving as their voice in communicating issues, challenges, and new product offerings to key decision-makers
  • Managing the ongoing maintenance of WebMD’s data management platform (DMP)
  • Partnering with clients and DMP partners to onboard client data
  • Identifying new demand partners and collaborating across teams to implement testing
  • Managing network relationships to ensure positive yield while meeting partner performance metrics
  • Partnering with analytics team to provide partner level performance reporting
  • Providing operational support on WebMD affiliate marketing initiatives
  • Partnering with SSP partners and programmatic operations team to identify and resolve transactional issues


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of programmatic media experience required, publisher experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience working within supply side platforms, ad servers, and data management platforms
  • Ability to effectively and confidently communicate with external and internal partners
  • Self-starter with the capacity to deliver on multiple deliverables, contribute new ideas, meet tight deadlines, navigate ambiguity, and be decisive under pressure
  • Strong analytical abilities and confidence using data
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with numerous internal teams
  • Skilled at project tracking and execution
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
