Medscape Education is the leading provider of online medical education for clinicians ( The Senior Resource Manager will ensure all our projects are appropriately staffed, resourced and scheduled with either internal or external resources (leading physician experts, freelancers, and contractors).   • Utilize project management platform to predict staffing needs and assign resources to new projects
  • Collaborate with cross functional team leaders to monitor and coordinate the scheduling of project delivery
  • Proactively identify periods where resource capacity falls below project needs to deliver on time
  • Support identification of external contract support staff to hire during periods of peak work
  • Track external resource expenses and support timely invoice payment processing
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Complete other responsibilities, as assigned

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • PMI certification a plus
  • Minimum of five years’ progressively responsible project and process management experience required; within the healthcare environment or medical education environment strongly preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience managing project resource assignments
  • Experience with continuing medical education materials a plus
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • High professionalism, ability to work independently, and easy rapport in building collaborative work relationships
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills and possess an eye for details
  • Ability to provide creative solutions independently or within a team dynamic as issues arise  
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, and grammar skills
  • Above average ability to use G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, etc) and Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with web-based document contracting and sharing sites (such as DocuSign and Box) and web-based project management tools (such as Workfront) a plus
