Responsibilities 

  • Ability to help Sales Planners develop essential skills needed for growth; confidence to help lead Planner training sessions & meetings
  • Manage & Train a team of 3+ Sales Planners  
  • Assist in putting together Sales Planning group materials & training documents
  • Oversee planner workload and lead team coverage
  • Prepare accurate & detailed digital pricing proposals that meet clients main objectives included in RFPs
  • Launch Media Campaigns; ensure IO’s are correct and in house, collect essential Ad Tags, and take Screenshots of live campaign
  • Provide superb account management after campaign launches to ensure a successful partnership and full delivery of revenue; recommend performance optimizations
  • Support all clients requests and inquiries promptly
  • Be an expert on all areas of the sites to be able to make strategic recommendations to Sales team on relevant media placements

 Requirements

  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience: 4+ years digital Sales Planning and/or Account Management background at a Publisher
  • Strong logical thinker and have robust media math skills
  • Familiarity with 3rd party ad servers (DFA, Sizmek, Pointroll, etc.) and large Media Agency templates; Ability to fill out Ad Spec templates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite- Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Calmness under pressure: Able to handle numerous high level campaigns simultaneously
  • A true team player and willingness to pitch in on other Sales Planners accounts as needed
  • Creative thinker; can recommend solutions for internal and external issues
  • Strong oral and written communication skills: Communicating with conciseness internally and externally
  • Solid understanding of the Digital Media industry; being up to date about creative ad units, technologies, and competitive information
