SVP Worldwide Solution Sales– [ AMER, EMEA and APAC]
The Nutanix SVP, Worldwide Solution Sales is a technical leadership position responsible for driving strategy for our Global Pre-Sales Systems Engineers, Portfolio Product Specialists, and Sales Enablement teams covering AMER, EMEA and APAC regions. In this role, you will have leadership responsibilities for the overall SE strategy and enablement of the team as well as leadership responsibilities for the Portfolio Product Specialists team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our rapidly growing organization and continue to further cement our position as a visionary and execution leader. You must be a thought leader and be able to work cross-functionally with executives to develop and implement business processes that drive efficiency and performance improvement across multiple operational and financial metrics. This is a highly visible role that will report directly to the WW EVP of Sales but will work daily and closely partner with the senior sales leadership, channel and partner teams, marketing and other executives across Nutanix to drive continued growth through an integrated, cross-departmental strategy.
About the team
Our Solution Sales organization is made up of over 900+ customer-focused technical sales professionals that provide pre-sales consulting, technical guidance, and hands-on assistance to customers and Nutanix channel partners. Our Systems Engineering organization collaborates and partners with our sales teams to recommend and design effective and appropriate customer solutions based on Nutanix offerings. This team also acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in his/her field by the Nutanix sales teams, business partners, and customers.
- Experienced leader in the technology/infrastructure space with progressive technical leadership responsibilities and expertise working with cross-functional teams to create and drive the business strategy and execution
- Ability to drive and build business plans and investment strategies.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of sales operations and enterprise sales models, including multi-channel distribution.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with all levels of our internal organization and channel partners through effective communication and relationship building
- High level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge with experience in leading customer engagements
- Excellent analytical skills with an expertise in SFDC and the ability to view the larger picture and articulate the key takeaways
- Able to develop creative solutions to complex problems and gain buy-in of colleagues across functions.
