Member of Technical Staff - 3 (Disaster Recovery & Backup)
- Design and develop applications, tools, and cloud-based services for building highly efficient engineering operations
- Own implementation, delivery, and adoption of applications, tools & cloud services using modern technologies (fast-paced environment)
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to bring requirements into high-quality & timely deliverables
- Learn and contribute to the best-of-breed practices and technologies, such as Iterative development, CI/CD
- Quickly learn and adapt to the Cloud operations tools/technologies and infrastructure.
- Identify possible areas of gaps and come up with infrastructure that helps close the gaps.
- Experience and solid understanding of Disaster Recovery and Backup solutions and architecture
- Hands-on experience with working on big data featured applications and large code base
- Hands-on experience with coding in at least one of the programming languages from Python/Java/C++
- Experience with RESTful API development using Python Django, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or such backend frameworks
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in Virtualization technologies and Hypervisors like ESXi/KVM/AHV is recommended.
- Experience with application & service development in a cloud environment like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a big plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT, build management tools and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins is a big plus.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- 3-5 years of experience developing web applications
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
