The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior BI Engineer to support the data and analytics requirements of Nutanix's World Wide sales organization. In this role, you will work as a key contributor in designing and developing the data infrastructure, front end dashboards and providing analytical support on strategic initiatives.

Your Role
  • Build dashboards and reporting solutions to meet the data and analytics needs of sales and sales supporting functions
  • Perform advanced data analysis using statistical techniques
  • Be a strong analytics partner on critical strategic initiatives
  • Present findings through well designed and intuitive dashboards 
  • Work closely with business partners in  the sales to understand business requirements, and define the right metrics
  • Explore and extract relevant data from enterprise reporting systems like Salesforce, Clari, and Quote to Cash tools
  • Build data pipelines and prepare data
  • Establish tight, zero-error quality checks (for reporting to senior executives)
  • Manage project delivery using Agile/Scrum processes 


What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or MCA
  • 8+ years of experience in Data and Analytics domains
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Expert in programming languages  (R, Python etc), visualization tools (Tableau,Power BI etc.), analytics platforms (Alteryx, Pentaho etc.) and enterprise reporting systems (Salesforce, Clari etc.)
  • Expert in SQL development with databases like Postgres, Teradata, SQL Server, MySQL
