Nutanix is seeking a Distribution & Broad Channel Sr. Manager, APJ to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evolving the strategy for our distribution partner coverage and ensuring we develop, excite and empower a strong value-added community of partners across the theatre. The role reports directly the VP, Partner Sales, APJ.  


About the Team

At Nutanix, you'll have the opportunity to join our APJ Channel Sales team, which is spread across ASEAN, ANZ, India, Korea, and Japan. You will report to the VP of Channel Sales, who is deeply invested in your growth and success within the organization. Expect to work in a hybrid setup, coming into the office 2-3 times a week. This setup allows for a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility. Additionally, as a part of a vibrant and dynamic team, you can look forward to engaging projects and tasks that will challenge and inspire you daily.

Given the nature of the role, some travel will be required. This could involve visiting various locations within the APJ region to engage with partners, attend events, or participate in team meetings and training sessions. Travel presents a valuable opportunity to build relationships and deepen your understanding of the market dynamics in different countries, enhancing both your professional growth and contribution to the team's objectives.


Your Role

  • Recruit, enable and develop new partners in the APJ theatre through our Distribution partners
  • Engage regional sales and marketing teams to amplify the reach of our Broad Channel
  • Drive and close deals in collaboration with sales, reseller and managed services partners.
  • Present Nutanix Solutions' value proposition to our Partners, and assist/enable partners in field prospect meetings, demos and offers.
  • Manage technical enablement plans with our key partners/distributors, tied to key measurables
  • Demonstrate Nutanix solutions as part of the ongoing development of the partner community
  • Identify and collaborate with partners around solution bundles for various verticals: and solutions including VDI, Private Cloud, DR, Big Data, FSI, Gov’t, Health Care, Education, etc.

What You Will Bring

  • Thorough understanding of Application Virtualization, Server Virtualization, and Networking, Storage, and Platform Performance/Sizing.
  • You have infectious intellectual curiosity, passion, and practice divergent/convergent thinking
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with sales, technical and marketing resources at all levels of our partner and field organization
  • Ability to assist and train partner technical resources to run demos and offers for end-users
  • Forecasting on channel sales pipeline and delivering sales results through the broad channel
  • Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • 12+ years prior Partner and/or direct sales experience, solution selling or management
  • Experience in a high-tech sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology and reaching quarterly and annual goals
