Job Summary
The TRTS Intern will work closely with Maintenance and Overhaul facilities, as well as external departments such as Procurement and Systems Safety, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with organizational goals. The addition of this position will be invaluable in helping our team uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance, while also fostering innovation within our organization.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for various tasks, including witnessing testing at vendor sites, approving or disapproving performance test requirements, scheduling and monitoring performance tests, troubleshooting issues, and analyzing and compiling comprehensive reports on test results and failure analyses. Additionally, the TRTS Intern will assist with developing equipment performance specifications, quality standards, work scopes, manuals, and test procedures. This position will also provide technical support to maintenance personnel and develop and evaluate corrective action programs to ensure the proper functioning of vehicle systems and subsystems.
Education and Experience
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major sequence of courses in electrical, mechanical, civil, transportation, transportation, aerospace or computer engineering, electrical/electronic technology, computer science, cyber security, or related degree.
