The Role: We are looking for a forward-thinking Account Manager to focus on the Public Sector in the West, namely State and Local Government, Higher Education, and K-12 Education. You have experience selling into greenfield accounts and building a new territory and you have a terrific reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. Ideal candidates have experience selling into the public vertical. You will be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute their strategic plan while consistently delivering on quarterly revenue targets. In this role you will:

  • Bring Innovation and leadership to develop and grow Logitech VC SLED model to achieve overall revenue and profitability objectives.

  • Develop high level account relationships (C-level) to serve as a trusted advisor to SLED customers.

  • Develop the SLED sales strategy and set aggressive goals to grow key segments within which we compete.

  • Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.

  • Develop and manage key business partner relationships as required to meet the assigned goals and objectives

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 7+ years of sales experience

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience to SLED customers

  • Technical acumen with the ability to relate it with business value

  • Validated and proven track record of sales performance and knowledge of SLED  sales

  • Excellent qualifying and closing skills

  • Business development, prospecting skills and ability to build strong partner relationships

  • Experience and credibility selling to CxO and senior sales business manager levels

  • Willingness to travel across the United States (As needed, 50% of time)

  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, industry trends and competition

  • Use and maintain; provide metrics on pipeline, sales and leads

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail. Maintain accurate and efficient reporting.

  • Strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships.

  • Ability to innovate within a growing business.

  • Ability to quickly understand and demonstrate technology and business value propositions.

  • The desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced, team environment.

Education: BS/BA required

Location: Western Location with easy access to major Airport (Seattle, Portland, LA, San Francisco, Denver, Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston)
