Hardware QA Technician position at Logitech

The Role

Hardware QA Technician is responsible for maintaining/running and enhancing the test automated environments to validate the performance of computer peripherals products and work with global teams.

In this role you will

  • Upgrading and maintaining our automation setup to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Performing soldering tasks with precision and safety.

  • Managing and organizing the lab, including equipment, supplies, and safety protocols.

  • Executing test cases accurately and efficiently, documenting results and anomalies.

  • Identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting issues found during testing, communicating effectively with relevant teams for resolution.

  • Ensuring all lab procedures and safety regulations are adhered to.

  • Assisting with the creation of lab reports and presenting findings when required.

  • Providing technical support and guidance in the lab.

  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab operations and capabilities.

  • Run automation frameworks to validate the firmware features of Logitech products.

  • Maintain CI/CD platforms for Logitech products.

  • Collaborate and work with developers across the globe during firmware development.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lab Technician or similar role.

  • Proficiency in soldering and other hands-on technical skills.

  • Familiarity with automation systems and upgrading processes.

  • Experience with testing methodologies and reporting.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

  • Knowledge of lab safety protocols and procedures.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with the latest industry trends.

In addition, preferable skills include

  • Experience in programming languages such as python to automate tasks.

Education

  • Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
