The Role:

The Salesforce Technical Architect, will work as part of the IT Enterprise Applications team to  implement Marketing platforms such as Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP).

  • Architect and design scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement, and Marketing Cloud Personalization, etc…

  • Partner with Global Marketing, Software, Brand, Web, CX, Supply Chain and IT  teams to understand and document technical requirements leveraging standards and best practices

  • Design data models, customer journey maps, personalization strategies, and engagement plans.

  • Stay up to date technology releases, features, and standards integrating them into solutions where appropriate. 

  • Work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the globe and at all levels of the organization. Build positive working relationships, drive strong team engagement and effectively manage escalations

  • Leverage platforms data, logging, and analytics to solution effective reactive and proactive monitoring 

  • Implement tracking and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies. 

  • Use data insights to inform and optimize future strategies.

  • Ensure solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

  • Ensure compliance with best practices in data security and privacy.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 8+ years in the IT Industry, implementing on technology related to Data Management Platform, Salesforce CDP, MCE, MCP and other Martech solutions 

  • General expertise with a wide variety of marketing technology including Content management platforms, Customer relationship management platforms, Experience management software, Email marketing tools, E-commerce and Mobile tracking software, Product information Master, etc..

  • Ability to bring a consulting approach to help business solve issues and challenges

  • Expertise in designing, planning, implementing, and governing against enterprise information technology architecture including documentation

  • Excellent verbal, active listening and written communications skills that should be equally effective with IT, marketing, and sales

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with a diversely distributed global IT and business team members

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Certifications or equivalent in; Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, Data Management Platform

  • Experience with managing implementations that span multiple countries and locales, working with translation management software to manage global content

  • Knowledge of Integration/Middleware tools such as Workato, MuleSoft

  • Work experience in the following ares; RESTful APIs, SDK’s, UML, SQL, SOQL, SOSL, APEX, AMPscript, SSJS, GTL, HTML, CSS, Javascript

Location: This will be a remote work position based in Texas

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 96,000 and $ 146,000.  

 

In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
