Reporting to the Country Manager you will be responsible for developing the entire Retail business, more and better in-store + online executions as well as marketing & sales initiatives to increase sales and improve partnerships. You will be the strategic lead for Retail overall with a direct responsibility for MSH Germany. Build action plans to implement our retail strategy with key partners, drive the execution forward and develop strategic partnerships and be the point of contact for the retail business.

  • Develop business with key retail and omnichannel partners, achieve assigned targets and strategic goals by identifying and accelerating all opportunities, and establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partners.
  • Lead a joint account planning & forecast process that develops mutual performance objectives & predictable revenue growth, define & manage budgets, monitor & report key success parameters and ROI.
  • Successfully introduce and implement new product categories and key initiatives, coordinate across the partner landscape, and execute with excellence.
  • Lead and coordinate the involvement of the broader team including field services, support, and management functions, provide leadership & inspiration fostering a culture of partner-centricity, accountability, collaboration, and achieving big bold goals.
  • Inspire our partner on business opportunities on decision maker level by acting as a leader.

Your Skills:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Experience in and positive & pragmatic approach to account management with a track record in consumer electronics.
  • Proven experience in the German retail landscape (MSH, EEE, MassMerch).
  • Experience in business development, and driving in-store execution, strong negotiation skills, and experience in building strategic partnerships on middle management to decision makers.
  • Ability to create, structure, and present plans.
  • Analytic, structured, highly driven, and solution-oriented person with financial acumen.
  • Ability to manage topics and challenges in multi-functional matrix organizations to drive development and results.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Category management or trade marketing experience is a plus.
