Position at Logitech

The Senior Financial Analyst in Operations Finance is the point person for understanding Logitech’s COGS and translating the information into opportunities for action. This role is located in Newark, CA and owns the forecasting and reporting processes across our four global COGS teams (Factory, ODMs, Supply Chain, Customer Experience). We are seeking a person who can be the connector and will present the summarized results to business partners, corporate stakeholders, and other finance and accounting teams. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Supply Chain Finance, the person in this role will make a difference to Logitech by supporting global revenue growth with an efficient cost structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with multiple business and finance teams to create annual budgets, deliver forecasts, and analyze results for Logitech COGS

  • Present financial reports and information to corporate finance and accounting teams 

  • Manage the spend for assigned groups in conjunction with Business leaders 

  • Identify process efficiencies and data/ reporting enhancements, and lead associated projects  

  • Look for cost savings opportunities and influence teams to deliver against targets

  • Take on ad hoc projects spanning diverse groups and/or stakeholders

Candidate attributes - what you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years experience in accounting or financial analysis, or MBA and 2 years work experience

  • Good communication with business partners, team members, and finance stakeholders

  • Curiosity and analytical thinking – ask questions, dig into data, make connections, look beyond specific tasks to understand further impacts 

  • Willingness to challenge partners using logic and financial data 

  • Team orientation - work across finance and accounting teams and actively share data with others 

  • Financial modeling and an interest in data and reporting tools

  • History of process improvements 

  • Experience using spreadsheets, database queries, and analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, Smartview)

In addition, preferable experience:

  • Comfortable presenting to senior leaders

  • Experience implementing new reporting and/or working on finance related IT projects 

  • Cost or inventory accounting 


  • Bachelor’s degree required
