GCO Amazon Commercial Manager

Logitech is looking for a great Global Amazon Commercial Manager who is passionate about eCommerce and who can express his/her strong (digital) customer expertise, negotiation skills and relevant associated skills to impact Logitech business in cooperation with internal and external partners. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Global relationship between Logitech and Amazon with the goal of increasing revenue, profitability while managing all commercial and Go To Market related aspects of the business.

You will be part of a strong team that leads the development of our Amazon business globally. You will report to the Head of GCO AMZ team. In this role, you will aim at designing and delivering consistent Amazon Global Go to Market strategies and guidelines to ensure mid to long term sustainable and  profitable growth for Logitech.

You will collaborate broadly with your Global/Regional/Local multi-functional team as well as with the Amazon Global Vendor Management team externally.

Define & design the Amazon Global Go To Market  strategy 

  • Develop a full understanding of the Amazon ecosystem and Go To Market to shape a mid to long term strategy & guidelines fueling Logitech and customer top and bottom line..

  • Identify sources of risks and opportunities and define action plans with clear monitoring. 

  • Monitor and influence Key KPI’s to drive sustainable profitable growth.

  • Develop Go To Market guidelines to enable markets and support consistent strategy across (from Big Events to Programs to kind of services to buy from Amazon).

  • Support regional to local negotiations backstage in line with local/regional/Amazon central commercial strategies. 

  • Forecast business sufficiency needed to deliver targets (fund management, promotional planning…)

  • Monitor and analyze all relevant KPI’s  on going to remain on top of the  markets’ dynamics. 

  • Engage with local regional  internal partners and Amazon central teams (Amazon) to align and get support with your strategy.  

  • Lead account planning sessions  to understand short to mid terms challenges and support the teams.

  • Enable markets to go towards strategic customer management and data driven mindset (e.g. via BluePrints, workshops etc…)

Drive consistency and scalability 

  • Turn insights into customized action plans for Amazon based on analytics, including business sufficiency to develop profitably Logitech business. This includes relevant GTM strategy supporting Logitech strategies,, best in class new products launch, efficient promotional plans, and reflects new customer needs.

  • Work on Business Development via projects to drive efficiencies, scalability and consistency across: joint forecasting, allocation process, consistent trade terms, derivatives portfolio for Big Events, Amazon Programs guidelines (e.g. Born to Run, Transparency…).  Align these action plans with key stakeholders locally (e.g. country + cluster channel head)  and regionally (central Amazon team).

  • Lock business sufficiency on a yearly basis (fund management, promotional planning, supply demand planning…)

  • Externalize these plans with Amazon and get their buy-in to implement.

  • Leverage and coordinate the sharing and reapply of best practices locally and with regional partners.

Drive customer strategic engagement

  • Be the Logitech Ambassador externally with GVM (Global Vendor Management) and be the main point of contact of the Amazon Global Vendor Management structure to coordinate and facilitate  internally and externally.

  • Develop a solid strategic win-win partnership opening the door to strong day to day and to new (learning)opportunities.

  • Align annually the Joint business planning together with KPI’s and monitoring to track progress.

  • Lead and prepare the Customer quarterly business reviews with top management as well as weekly follow-ups. 

  • Organize annual external Boot Camps with the customer to share strategies, NPI and reviews the areas of improvement and focus.  

  • Penetrate customer organization and map it.

  • Support and coordinate Big Events and NPIs with customer. 

  • Communicate effectively and clearly to all key stakeholders (internally/externally). 

  • Systematically provide post mortems analysis to sharpen your understanding of improvement areas.

Key Qualifications:

We are looking for the following qualifications and skills:

  • The ideal candidate will have 6/8 years experience in customer negotiation driving strategic relationships, preferably already experienced with online pure players.

  • Understanding of Amazon (operating model, media).

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking combined with mastery of supporting Microsoft or Google suite.

  • Proactive, energetic, self-starter with hands-on approach to the business and results oriented.

  • Highly collaborative and proven communication skills.

  • Ownership & accountability, solution-driven.

  • Full fluency in English is a must.

  • Strong Sales, Financials and Marketing acumen. Good financial knowledge

  • Proficient in data-driven digital marketing & media programs, familiar with major E-Retailer platforms.

  • Experience in matrix organization.

  • Multi-regional to global customer management experiences.


 

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • 2 years in Digital performance marketing or category management  gained from working on eCommerce platforms (e.g Amazon) AND for brands.

  • Proficient in project management.

  • Proficient understanding of UX/CX experience.

  • Proficient understanding of Advertising.
