The Role:

The senior SW Engineer AR/VR is responsible for the development of SW modules, drivers and applications within the Mixed Reality domains (Virtual/Augmented Reality). We are at the beginning of an incredible journey and as a key member of the Logitech AR/VR SW team in Cork (& Lausanne), you will work on a broad range of experiences and be in a unique position to have a direct impact on the future of millions of consumers.   • Own the investigation, design, specification, and development of complex SW modules & Apps that will enable thousands of users within AR/VR

  • Lead other team members, and grow team capabilities. 

  • With a design thinking mindset, Investigate, innovate, and develop SW proof of concepts, that combine both HW & SW, within the Virtual/Augmented Reality domains.

  • Design and develop public API’s & SDK”s for seamless integration of new peripherals.

  • Collaborate with several internal & external application partners to drive integration of new HW/SW experiences.

  • Have passion and sensitivity for user experience design and attention to detail in the development of novel UIs

  • Be part of a cross-functional team, leveraging co-workers' skills & knowledge, to identify simple elegant new experiences.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Minimum 3 years of related industry experience

  • Software development skills - familiar with several programming languages from the list below:

    • C#, C++, OOP, UML

    • Javascript, Python, Golang, Java, etc.

    • Development of dll, libraries, and drivers on Windows and associated technologies.

  • Fluent with tools and methodologies such as: git, agile, sprints, scrum.

  • Work rigorously using best SW dev practices and not being afraid of doing code reviews.

  • Solutions and product-oriented.

  • Curious, positive, open.

  • Excellent team player that also can work independently.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Mobile/Android development skills.

  • Prior experience in creating web services infrastructure (full stack).

  • Knowledge of Unity3D, Unreal Engine or other game engines

  • Knowledge in 3D modeling and 3D workflows.

  • Fluent in reading user flows, prototypes, annotated mock-ups, storyboards, and user personas in an agile environment.

  • Having been exposed to user-centered design thinking.


  • Engineering degree ( Bac / MSc), preferably in computer science.

  • Having followed some courses in HCI / interaction design as a plus.
