We are looking for a dynamic Senior Leader with strong strategic vision, sound business planning and Go-To-Market innovation to drive our fast growing Video Collaboration business in the Public Sector. This new position requires a strong GM quality leader with: 1) Extensive leadership experiences across Public Sector Sales (Education & Government), marketing and multi functions; 2) Comfortable driving strategic alignment and operational excellence in a matrix organization with strong entrepreneur mindset. She/He will collaborate with global Business Group and regional Marketing and Channel Sales teams to define optimum strategy, priorities and plans to maximize Logitech’s Video Collaboration revenue opportunities.

The Head of Video Collaboration, Public Sector Sales will be responsible for building, managing and leading the Public Sector Vertical for Logitech’s Video Collaboration business.  You will develop and execute Logitech’s Public Sector sales strategy, customer account plans, and be a key contributor in defining marketing strategies and initiatives across the multiple sales channels in market.  You will also be responsible for meeting customer and company profitability metrics.

The right candidate will play a critical role in the creation and execution of a Public Sector Sales Program to maximize the adoption of Video Collaboration within the Education and Government markets.

Your Day-to-Day Role:

Reporting to the Head of Video Collaboration, VP of Sales & Marketing for the Americas, this person will work cross functionally with various Logitech team members to create objectives by channel and customer and deliver revenue and financial goals along with key sales objectives for the Logitech US Public Sector business.  You will directly hire, coach, and manage and be responsible for a sales organization.  You will develop and deliver annual and quarterly targets to ensure your organization meets or exceeds its revenue and profit goals.  You will partner closely with finance, sales operations, supply chain, marketing and product management teams to influence and recommend strategies and initiatives and ensure these are executed across our channels and customer base.  You will also manage and will be responsible for your assigned marketing budgets, expenses and delivering the P&L assigned to the Video Collaboration Public Sector.

  • Drive, manage and execute the business and revenue of the public sector

  • Analyze regional market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities

  • Educate leadership on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, contracts, trends, customer needs, and pricing

  • Prepare forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans

  • Ensure that the public sector sales plan is aligned with and supports the Americas revenue goal

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Must be a high performing individual with a proven track record of consistently exceeding established measurements for goals and objectives in the Public Sector

  • Preferred candidates will have experience in business-to-business selling and managing using a consultative sales approach, and will have strong demonstrated partnering and closing skills

  • Must have expertise around GSA, Federal procurement and the various buying vehicles to enable growth in hardware sales via our DMRs, VARs and distribution partners

  • Prior leadership to include a proven track record of hiring, mentoring and coaching high performance sales teams.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail. Maintain accurate and efficient reporting.

  • Strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships.

  • Ability to innovate within a growing business.

  • The desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced, team environment.

Education:  BS/BA required. MBA preferred.
