The Role:

Logitech is seeking a passionate, highly motivated person with a UX Design background to join our dynamic design studio and support our Global Personal Workspace Solutions Design Team. You will be crucial in leading and delivering cutting-edge products and experiences. We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong focus on user research and empathy to ensure the development of user-centered solutions. You are independent and will speak up and challenge your team to deliver the right solution with the user in mind. You are not afraid of failure: you are playful and experiment your way forward. You are passionate about providing exceptional experiences to enhance millions of people’s lives as they interact daily with digital content.
The ideal candidate will have a background in UX research, design and prototyping.

In this role, you will:

• Drive positive change and out-of-the-box thinking to innovate new hardware, software and service experiences.

• Demonstrate critical thinking coupled with strong problem-solving skills.

• Use Design Thinking and creative human-centered problem solving.

• Be keenly aware of the industry landscape, including user, market, and technology research, to ground actual needs and opportunities solutions. 

• Collaborate hand in hand with a multidisciplinary team on the exploration and iteration of product concepts.

• Drive iterative design processes, fail quickly by building concepts and testing them along the way. 

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Strong portfolio of cutting-edge design that proves not only solid design skills but forward-thinking solutions.

• Passionate design thinker and craftsperson.

• Familiar with user-centered design methods and techniques in a multidisciplinary design environment.

• Understand the latest development tools, technologies, and processes and best use them depending on project needs.

• Proficient skills in concept generation, visualization, and rapid prototyping.

• Highly driven and a proactive self-starter - taking on a task without much context and driving it through excellent communication skills sharing your design thinking, presenting to all levels of co-workers.

• Comfortable in ambiguous territory where design hasn’t historically been.  

• The best candidates will be curious, insightful, collaborative, and creative.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX research, Interaction design, product design or related fields.

• Optimistic outlook - we are creating the future after all.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
