Overview

Logitech seeks a brilliantly talented and experienced advertising Creative Director / Copywriter (based in Europe) to play a leadership role in our global in-house creative team. The Role

From the 2021 Super Bowl to a host of award-winning product launches, the in-house creative team has led the charge in telling the world about our products and brand in these exciting categories. But we’re just getting started. And we’re on a mission to take our work to the highest levels.

The Creative Director / Copywriter role will be instrumental to that mission. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the copy discipline and the development of 360 ad campaigns on our EU team, helping us to elevate our storytelling and conceptual output, pushing for greater originality, brand ownability, and cultural resonance.

You will be both hands on—conceiving and writing our most consequential advertising campaign work—as well as directing, educating, inspiring and mentoring other creatives. This role is ideally based in Lausanne Switzerland. But exceptional EU-based talent willing to spend time in Lausanne will be considered. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the development of outstanding 360 campaigns for product and brand storytelling 

  • Execute and shepherd creative from conception, presentation and executive buy-in, through all stages of creative development, production and post-production

  • Refine our practice to achieve ever better conceptual and narrative output: host creative workshops, brainstorm and critique sessions and more

  • Develop and nurture relationships with interdisciplinary in-house teams, as well as world-class production/post-production companies and independent creators

  • Help the Logitech brand enter into new innovative, non-traditional spaces

  • Hire, mentor and manage creative teams

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience and a standout portfolio of original, strategically grounded, award-winning advertising and brand engagement work. Please make the portfolio link clear in your submission.

  • A creative portfolio representing a high degree of craft in writing for broadcast/video, as well as digital and non-traditional advertising activations—representing a diverse range of creative expression

  • A gifted conceptual and creative writer with demonstrable command of style, as well as a skillful thinker, with the ability to distill sometimes complex strategies into simple cogent language

  • Experience driving culture-breaking creative for major consumer brands

  • Excellence in creative and marketing leadership, with the ability to inspire, educate and clearly articulate creative strategy, narrative, and ideas

  • Deep production and post-production experience across video, CG, photography, print, digital

  • A passionate mentor and hands on creator. Experience as both a sleeves-rolled-up creator, as well as committed mentor and manager

  • A collaborative leader, team and consensus builder, with attuned conflict resolution skills

  • A pop, design, and ad culture junkie with a passion for innovative brand advertising

  • A restless drive to create truly outstanding, culturally resonant work

  • Big passion. Big sense of humor. Small ego

  • Fluency in English


Education

  • BA/BS degree in Fine Arts, Advertising, Creative Writing, English Language/Literature, or equivalent practical experience.
