Cluster Category Manager - Core
Logitech has recently expanded its Category function and is looking for a genuinely bright and dynamic person who will own & manage the North & West Europe core business and acquisitions (Creativity & Productivity, Home Control & Blue).
We are looking to recruit a special individual who will be responsible for full ‘cradle to grave’ Category and S&OP management. There is a high level of autonomy in this role.
The candidate will be bright and energetic with rounded skills in various Sales, Category and/or Marketing functions with a passion for technology products who can manage multiple tasks and lead their categories.
The selected candidate will be responsible to manage all commercial aspects of products in the respective categories to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
The CCM has the primary focus of planning portfolio & promotional activities and aligning those with country lead (based on commercial and analytical insight) whilst driving alignment with Supply Chain, KAMs and Marketing Managers in the countries.
A key requirement is to manage the Q+ planning process for their respective category and cluster (rolling 6 month plan); aligning marketing initiatives, scenario modelling and providing pre and post activity analysis, learnings and recommendations.

Be accountable for the performance of products in the categories, achieving the revenue & profitability targets and strategic objectives
Use market insights from the country organisation to translate global and regional GTM guidelines into the Cluster
Align strategies, campaigns, execution and performance KPIs with country lead & country teams
Manage the P&L planning, top-line marketing investments* and execution of activities in countries, channels and customers
Lead NPI launches for key products in the North & West Europe cluster
Act as a business partner for all commercial aspects of the respective categories; esp. for performance analysis (GFK), strategy development & presentation (Q+), identification of new opportunities and partnerships
Drive cross-country collaboration, share best practice and modify successful activities for execution in other countries, channels or customers
Proactively support and challenge key market stakeholders (CMs, KAMs, MMs) to develop distribution, channels, portfolio-mix and efficiency
Define, manage and control investments for partners, review the relevant ROI (return on investment) and success parameters
Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
Conduct regular on-site meetings with customers and country teams (~25% travel)
Be a Brand Ambassador
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Ideally 5+ years experience in IT or CE environment with a recognised A-brand company. We will also consider candidates from other sectors where those sectors are focused on consumer sales and sell through activity with retailers and/or resellers.
Energetic, bright, dynamic commercial lead for their categories.
Comprehensive understanding of the retail markets and how to maximise promotional campaigns within the different customers.
Balance of commercial skills including product introduction & planning, P&L modelling, S&OP, in-store activities and execution, online experience and digital awareness, plus strong commercial-planning experience.
Strong project management skills, detail orientated and highly organised & self-motivated.
Strong presentation & negotiation skills and ability to manage relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
Rounded and varied experience and eager to develop and learn
Positive and open person in the Logitech tradition and believes is a team mentality, shared responsibility and humble.
