This role reports to Global Category Manager - Gaming Core (based in Shanghai) for GCO (Global Commercialization Organization). This position will be based in Shanghai, China of the regional headquarter.

The Logitech GCO Gaming Marketing team is looking for a Global Marketing Manager - Logitech G to support PC Gaming (Core) which include mice, keyboard and headset in defending our leadership position in the market while continue drive revenue growth and share gain across the world’s markets from marketing communication and product portfolio perspectives. 

This position involves working with global Business Group, GCO GTM team, regional finance team and leading the communication with all 6 regional teams within EMEA, APAC, AMR for implementing in the local markets on Digital marketing, trade marketing, campaigns in order to define the optimal strategy, priorities and plans to maximize business opportunities.

  • Be a category owner for brand proposition and communication, campaign development, consumer insights and marketing tools for the online and offline executions

  • Be enthusiastic about gaming and provide relevant trends for the gaming market: competition, marketing programs, gaming innovation, gaming events and social …

  • Support manager with business analysis to highlight trends, portfolio gaps and opportunities, competition, sales trends, market share.

  • Be the point of contact and center of expertise for global Business Group & Regional Category Managers across 6 regions

  • Manage GCO marketing budget for the category, guide the regions for their marcom investment.

  • Responsible for category P&L, goals, strategies, priorities, guidance and performance tracking

  • Drive exciting Global Brand Campaign across Regions, by providing full 360 marketing plan guidance on top of the assets/toolkit provided by Business Group 

    • Collaborate with marketing cross-functional teams of Consumer Insights, Social / Influencer, Digital Media 

    • Support regions on contents localization

    • Consolidate Regional integrated marketing campaign roll-out plans

    • Supervise the execution, monitoring and measurement of the campaign success

    • Review campaign and analyze on what work and what not

    • Measure and track marketing investment against the campaign KPIs and budget

  • Product/Portfolio:

  • Support Business Group on new product developments including: value proposition, line-up positioning, pricing, business case, launch strategies.

  • Secure seamless product launch process: launch toolkits, demand & supply, alignment with the regions as well as cross-functional teams

  • Price:

  • Understand market competitive landscape to define pricing strategy and MSRP for competitiveness

  • Constantly seek solutions to improve profitability and Standard Margin %

  • Placement:

  • Support each channel marketing team for developing the shopper journey, communication messaging as well as display tools.

  • Promotion:

  • Provide regions with clear guidance and assets to ensure consistency across regions executions

  • Collect regional campaign results and provide evaluation including: sales results, YOY%, impression, conversation rate %, ROI and key learning

Your Skills:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 8+ years of international experience, preferably with 2 years in global roles, gained in leading Consumer goods, consumer electronics and/or eRetail companies.

  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to manage multiple projects while focused on key priorities.

  • Must have experience with full marketing mix, developing marketing plans, 360 campaigns across all touchpoints, partnerships and trade marketing.

  • Has a positive, vibrant and energetic attitude and cultivates a positive working environment

  • Passion for eSports, Gaming is a very big plus

  • A great team player with a strong and confident personality

  • In-depth experience in understanding consumer preferences, attitudes and other factors that influence marketing plan and campaign

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and build strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, both functionally and geographically is critical.

  • Experience with more than one of our key regions (Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific) and a proven ability to work in x-regional teams and matrix organizations.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Organizational savvy to understand how to get things done in a matrix organization

  • Self-management skills and self-started attitude highly valued

  • English fluent verbally and written is a must.

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance

  • Travel: The role will require occasional travel globally
