The Role:

The Role EPM Specialist is responsible for Support, Development of all EPM solutions for the stakeholders in the finance department.

  • Develop, support and manage the Onestream, Essbase, DRM Applications
  • Manage daily and monthly activities to support financial planning and reporting activities across all BI applications
  • Develop and support applications and functionality as required 
  • Proactively build working relationships with the Corporate FP&A and Accounting groups and related Operating Unit personnel to deliver, maintain and enhance Onesteam functionality.
  • Ensure Production environment stability and performances are up to par and meet SLA agreements.
  • Provide timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects.
  • Develop test scenarios, test scripts for Application enhancements and acceptance testing.
  • Assist with set up and maintenance of end user security, which includes creating and provisioning of user groups, filters and security profiles in alignment with the needs of the business
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional deliverables
  • Communicate, Coordinate and assist the Application issues to the Business users and Development teams
  • Identify areas within the Onestream applications where we can enhance and automate various system processes


Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 3-5 years of EPM experience in a developer role and a minimum of 1 year of hand on experience in Onestream
  • Strong experience as a technical resource designing and delivering EPM applications
  • Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
  • Interacting with business clients to understand, define, analyze, and deliver customer requirements
  • Skilled in building and maintaining Business rules, scripts and develop technical solutions to complex business problems
  • Ability to tune and optimize applications for Optimal Data Load, Calculation and Query Performance
  • Ability to define and implement sophisticated security as required
  • Ability to debug and resolve data issues related to finance and accounting functions
  • Troubleshooting issues, recommending alternative resolutions, and analyzing trends to proactively prevent problems
  • Knowledge of intricate application interface processes, tools and monitoring systems
  • Supporting deployment and user training
  • Knowledge of technical infrastructures, hardware and network environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Proficient in SQL skills with the ability to understand relational data models
  • Proficient in VB and or Powershell scripting
  • Strong technical aptitude, with a high ceiling for further growth
  • Strong knowledge of SOX and implementing internal controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Knowledge on financial systems and processes
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP
  • Experience in reporting tools like OBIEE, Tableau
  • Oracle Hyperion Certifications in Essbase or Planning
