The Distribution Sales Manager is responsible for managing the distribution team and all products and services in the Logitech portfolio. The Distribution Sales Manager will interact with mid level sales and marketing management at all distributors. You will be responsible for delivering a sound business plan to deliver growth in all categories. The Distribution Sales Manager will provide forecasting and sales plan and be responsible to manage to that plan.  You will orchestrate a Quarterly Business Review Process, establish objectives for each distributor and set plans to achieve those plans. You will develop plans to surface new opportunities in the reseller space to accelerate Logitech business in all verticals.  You will be responsible for engaging the Distribution Sales Management Teams, drive Logitech strategy to drive growth with B2B Strategically Important Products/Solutions. You will be the main contact for the Director of B2B Sales, The Video Collaboration (VC) Manager of Channel and the Enterprise Sales Manager in managing and maintaining the VC bundle program and communicating bundle portfolio, availability, timing, and changes. The Sales Manager will manage the MDF budget and collaborate with Channel Marketing to deliver an efficient and effective plan consistent with Logitech strategies.


In this role you will:

  • Manage Distribution team, reporting to the Director of Sales B2B/Distribution
  • Accelerate the Sales Growth of the total Logitech portfolio of products and services through Distribution channel
  • Develop plans to execute solution selling of Logitech Portfolio of products and services by enabling and activating Distribution Sales teams in SMB/Gov/Ed channels
  • Setting priorities for the team by developing business plan consistent with company objectives. Driving strategy in distribution channel that support Logitech growth initiatives
  • Manage inventory strategy and flow to maximize channel sales
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and follow through on established SLA’s by distributor
  • Manage Marketing Development Funds across the channel to maximize effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Develop supporting role strategy to supplement Logitech business efforts with DMR Outside Sales Teams
  • Engage Sales Management Teams at each Distributor, nurturing relationships, and developing strong connection to Logitech
  • Create strong working relationship with Inside Sales team. Collaborate to drive controllable business
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the C&P and VC product portfolio’s, industry trends, and competition
  • Collaborate with Channel Marketing in developing Channel Enablement activities across the channel
  • Key contributor in process improvement for pricing, sales enablement, inventory management and tactical execution of Video collaboration bundling process
  • Working cooperatively with the existing Logitech B2B team/VC Sales Teams and Inside Sales Teams - learning from and leveraging resources where appropriate.  Creating your own where not.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 5-7+ years of proven and solid sales leadership experience working with Distribution Channel
  • Results-driven and committed to leading a team on finding new opportunities in a growing business
  • Strong sales leadership and communications skills and be technically able to conduct teach and deliver effective presentations face-to-face and virtually
  • Bring business and related industry knowledge with a proven ability to build relationships with Channel Partners and penetrate at a management level
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively to drive business in a team leadership environment

In addition to Customer facing activities above, the Distribution Sales Manager is also responsible for internal Logitech activities:

  • Acting as primary Go-To expert for Account and Logitech for all things Distribution
  • Collaboration with Logitech Business Groups
  • Collaboration with Logitech B2B Channel Marketing and Global Brand Equity teams
  • Forecasting and Business Planning
  • MDF Management

  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • Formal Sales and/or Presentation skills training is heavily preferred
  • Technical Certifications are preferred
