The Head of B2B Finance - North America Region (Manager/Senior Manager) is an integral member of the B2B channel management leadership team. In this role you will report directly to the Head of Finance for our Americas Region.
Utilizing in-depth knowledge in Finance, you will provide functional leadership inclusive of financial planning and analysis, measurement of productivity, and investment evaluation and analysis.
Coaching business leaders and improving their financial acumen while balancing profitable growth with financial integrity will be instrumental in driving/influencing business results in this position.
Responsibilities also include oversight of quarterly accounting close, coordination with Controllership, and compliance with applicable policies and standards.
Drive top line growth while balancing margin expansion
E2E management of B2B P&L for the NAM region with driving clear accountability among the B2B Leadership team, Direct sales team and Channel teams
Align with sales operation in driving sales performance measures and driving sales productivity
Drive workflow and process efficiencies to enable agility and optimize customer response time while maintaining necessary controls
Partner with Global project teams, IT, and B2B leadership team in implementing CPQ processes
Partner with the business in making financially sound decisions and driving profitable business growth through favorable product/channel/customer mix, pricing and promotional decisions and rationalized customer program offerings
Work closely with sales leaders on pipeline / funnel and integrate financial forecast based on SFDC
Leads in identifying and communicating opportunities and risks within the business. Collaborate with the regional leadership team to develop and measure appropriate business and operational plans
Partner with the Video collaboration category team on Category Performance, S&OP processes, pricing and inventory management
Lead annual/quarterly financial planning process across customers, categories, countries from top to bottom line to properly reflect business opportunities and risks
Interact closely and support Controllership to ensure compliance for Revenue Recognition, Claims, Credit and Collections, Procurement, etc., as well as interact with Internal and External Audit functions
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams
Collaborate with peer finance leaders to identify best practice solutions to business developments
Extensive professional experience in finance or accounting (8+ years with an advanced degree)
Ability to work independently and travel (depending on location); could be around 20%
Solid business acumen and judgment
Sound analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret data
Self-motivated and goal oriented
Tactful, exercises independent judgment and discretion
Excellent written/oral communication & presentation skills
Ability to function well in high-energy business environments
