The Role:

Reporting to the Category Head of Personal Workspace, Europe, the selected candidate will support the Head of Category responsible for managing all commercial aspects for Personal Workspace categories & help grow further this important business. The Portfolio Manager will help with the planning of sales activities, aligning those with country lead (based on commercial and analytical insight) and driving execution with Consumer Marketing Managers and Account Managers in the countries.

  • Use market insights from country organization to translate global and regional Promo & category strategies into effective campaigns and activities in the European markets

  • Partner with GCO category organization and act as daily point of contact on portfolio optimization

  • Manage & integrate key partnerships to amplify the Logitech category and marketing messages

  • Align strategies, campaigns, execution and performance KPIs with country lead & country teams

  • In conjunction with the Head of Personal Workspace, deliver KPIs of products in Personal Workspace achieving the revenue & profitability targets and strategic objectives

  • Provide Head of Category with key insight and detailed analysis to support NPI launches for key products in Europe

  • Drive implementation & execution of campaigns with Personal Workspace Marketing Manager & country teams

  • Act as business partner for commercial aspects of the Personal Workspace category with the country points of contact, esp. for market performance analysis (GFK), strategy development & presentation, identification of new opportunities and business performance

  • Drive cross country collaboration, share best practice and modify successful activities for execution in other countries, channels or customers

  • Drive efficient distribution models: Proactively support and challenge Country contacts for key partners in the development of their portfolio, ranges and space allocations

  • Conduct regular video call meetings with country points of contact including Marketing Manager, Account Managers.

  • Conduct regular on-site meetings with customers and country teams (~30-40% travel)

  • Be a brand ambassador for Personal Workspace


Your Skills:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 8+ years of international portfolio and category experience from leading FMCG/CE/ Consumer centric companies.

  • Strong P&L/portfolio awareness and business analysis skills

  • High strategic capabilities to both provide input to the development of global strategic plans and translate those plans into commercial category strategies. 

  • Able to articulate and commercialize NPIs and to engage with both the Global teams and countries to ensure execution of the strategy.

  • Passion for consumers and shoppers needs aligned with strong business dynamics

  • Experience having worked in matrix structure

  • Experience building brand value, strategy recommendations and successfully growing a product line.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence business, brand, marketing, category strategy across the organization, is required.

  • Ideal candidate has proven leadership skills to create strong internal/external relationships, while being a global team player.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, both functionally and geographically is critical.

  • Ability to view issues from a broad strategic perspective and strong experience in problem solving, influencing and decision making.

  • Organizational savvy to understand how to get things done in a matrix organization.

  • Self-management skills and self-starter attitude.

  • English fluent verbally and written is a must.

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance, MBA is a plus.
