Position Summary

Join us for an exciting opportunity involving the rapid development & realisation of new products for Logitech Gaming. You will be working in a fast paced, creative environment, with a strong focus on learning from rapid, iterative prototypes. You will aid the evaluation of User Experiences & Interactions and will help drive and influence the product design direction and specification. 

You will join a dynamic team of Industrial Designers, Materials specialists as well as Mechanical, Electrical and Embedded Software Engineers who are looking for an Electrical Technician with a creative flare, the drive to deliver and who shares their passion for technology and design, to join their team in the Logitech Cork Design Centre. 

This is a 1 yr Fixed Term Contract

  • Contribute to the development of new products and technologies

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand user experiences + requirements

  • Advance Test & Measurement capabilities

  • Specify & Evaluate new equipment

  • Maintain & Operate laboratory equipment

  • Perform Tests, Analysis & Present results

  • Proficient with automation interfaces 

  • Scripting & programming experience

  • Knowledge & understanding of sensors + actuators 

  • Strong Hardware & Embedded Software debugging skills

  • Excellent soldering and wiring abilities

  • Understanding of EE & ME CAD tools (KiCad, Eagle and specifically Orcad Capturre CIS and PADS)

  • Strong Schematic & PCB layout knowledge

  • Experience on rapid prototyping platforms

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong team working capabilities

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Keen interest in latest tech and computing trends

  • Creative problem solver

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include...

  • Experience with LabView & Python or Matlab

  • Working knowledge GPIB, USB, LAN interfaces

  • Experience on Arduino, mBed or Raspberry PI platforms

  • Working knowledge of standard interface protocols (analog, I2C, SPI, …)

  • BLE, Touch, IMU and HID knowledge would be a plus.

  • Fluent in french is an advantage
