As the fastest growing business in Logitech, we are looking for a Global Manager of New Product Introduction Readiness to join the Global Video Collaboration Commercial (GVCC) Marketing team to help us successfully launch amazing new products that customers love and partners are prepared to sell while accelerating Logitech’s profitable growth in the coming years.
The Global Manager, VC NPI Readiness plays a critical and central role in the Logitech Video Collaboration product launch process, with responsibility for developing and executing go-to-market plans for all new products and services, new and end of life (EOL), within the Global Video Collaboration Commercial Organization. With accountability for ensuring Logitech’s video collaboration products are launched into the marketplace successfully and with as much impact on the market as intended, this role requires someone with a combination of strong project/program management, marketing skills, consensus building, and an ability to coordinate resources from a variety of supporting teams. This position works closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Communication, Product Support/Service, Sales, and the Executive team.
Manage all elements of the product launch process on behalf of the Global Video Collaboration Commercial Organization (GVCC) including the development and execution of go-to-market plans, value proposition articulation, and internal organizational readiness
Define the global product launch process for all product launches including inputs, timelines and key deliverables from cross-functional partners including Supply Chain Operations (SCO), Product Management, Field Sales, and Finance, managing multiple launches and EOL processes at the same time
Work with operational stakeholders to drive detailed plans and develop best practices to facilitate high-quality product releases with the goal of best-in-class execution
Understand the scope and operational requirements and impacts of all cross-functional teams for each launch
Ensure launch readiness is being driven and executed with a global mindset; not regional preference
Work closely with Logitech Category Managers to ensure operational sales-readiness through Distribution partners to the Channel
Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies, and provide escalation management throughout new product launch
Advocate for all stakeholders throughout the release cycle to ensure they have the support needed to succeed
Work with supporting teams to develop sales and partner training and any additional materials and information necessary to aid the Sales teams in effectively selling new products to prospective and existing customers to and through channel partners
Maintain a calendar that reflects future launches, communications, and education date
Inform and educate launch process to operational stakeholders
Schedule and attend launch meetings, publishing notes, and action items to team members and leadership ensuring up-to-date visibility into the release schedule
Assist in the attainment of product revenue growth and attachment during the initial post-launch period through the development and implementation of new product marketing programs and enhancements to value proposition messaging
Manage a team of regional NPI Readiness Launch Managers tasked with owning the launch process for the region
Experience and knowledge of multiple disciplines: program management, product marketing, sales, supply chain, capacity planning, & logistics
Ability to apply sales-readiness analysis to the development of the GTM strategy
Experience sharing change requirements with leadership in all functions
Experience working cross-functionally across all levels of a highly matrixed organization
Strong focus on problem-solving and has the ability to identify and implement scalable solutions
Sharp eye for details with a “hands-on” and continuous improvement mindset to identify inefficiencies and design improvement processes
Excellent presentation and analytical skills; proficient in managing large data sets
Highly driven self-starter, motivated, with excellent communication and organization skills
Able to effectively operate as a matrix manager in coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt well to new technologies
Ability to handle several tasks and juggle multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and productively across business groups
Attention to detail in all areas of the position
7-10+ years of working experience in NPI, program management, and/or product marketing in the high-tech industry. Hardware experience is a plus.
Demonstrated history of managing complex projects and executing on marketing plans
Experience in launching new high tech products and communicating benefits
Knowledge of the product development process
PMI Certification a plus
Education: BA/BS degree
