Let’s create the world's greatest iGaming experience.

LeoVegas’ scale-up culture sets a tone of courage and capacity to act. Employees are encouraged to not only say what they think, but also to do the job that is needed - “to make it happen”.

LeoVegas does not believe in hierarchical structures, but instead that every individual employee plays an important role in the company. We trust that you thrive in these environments.

Due to our continued growth, we’re now looking for a Compliance Manager to join our high performing team.

As our Compliance Manager you will:

  • Work closely with the Head of Compliance and wider Compliance team to uphold standards and embed a culture of compliance across the business.
  • Provide support and guidance to various business areas, covering the full operational compliance life cycle including (but not limited to) responsible gaming, AML, customer complaints, regulatory proceedings, and marketing content.
  • Maintain awareness of changing legislation, regulation, and industry standards interpreting this into relevant policy changes as required, highlighting any development required, risks and/ or areas for improvement.
  • Act as a “business partner” when working with key stakeholders, including the Management team, across the business, to understand and support the commercial landscape and products to help solve compliance challenges.
  • Manage a team of direct reports.
  • Advise the business on compliance with regulations in relation to existing and future licensing requirements and act as a key member of associated projects.
  • Handle any compliance escalations as required.
  • Work closely with other teams to support and ensure alignment of the wider compliance framework, such as Operations, Legal, Technical Compliance, and Assurance.
  • Manage the workload and ensure deadlines are met promoting good governance procedures.
  • Deputise for the Head of Compliance in internal and external meetings and projects as required.
  • Lead within own projects to improve and develop our compliance strategy.
  • Interpret new and changing legislation, regulations, and industry guidance, converting these into internal policy requirements to ensure full compliance in a timely manner.
  • Stay abreast of industry and internal KPIs and measures to ensure full oversight of the regulatory landscape in relevant markets.
  • Support in maintaining a positive relationship with regulator/s, leading on regulatory engagements as required.
  • Assist in other projects as needed from time to time.

Your areas of knowledge and experience:

  • A strong leader with experience of UK and other European gambling markets within an iGaming business.
  • Demonstratable experience of a compliance role (operator, or regulator) with understanding of KYC, AML, Safer Gambling and Fraud, or a compliance/ relevant professional qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Cultural fit is very important. You will share our attitudes of “We make it happen”, “Simplicity rules”, “We chase betterness”, “Trust and accountability counts” and “We are Team Leo”.
  • A 'Spider in the web' mentality, valuing business partnering and support rather than the creation of silos.
  • Enjoy the accountability of working and making decisions autonomously in an environment that will always have a level of ambiguity.
  • Experience of working within a multi-brand organisation would be beneficial but not essential.
  • A self-driven mentality with the confidence to drive your own agenda rather than through micro management support and direction.
  • A high-level understanding of the project management process would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English, with a keen interest in business partnering.
  • The ability to challenge appropriately with proven negotiation skills.
  • Passionate but pragmatic approach to tasks and duties.
