ABOUT THE ROLE
We are entering into a new phase of growth at LeoVegas after being acquired by the global entertainment leader MGM Resorts International. As a Business Development Manager, you will be a strategic partner across several teams within our global group and work with many facets of the business. The projects coming your way will vary but often relate to expansion. Therefore, being structured, knowing how to synthesize large sets of qualitative and quantitative data, and presenting in a concise and C-suite-ready format are all crucial skills. This is a chance to join the Business and Corporate Development Team, which works directly under LeoVegas’ CFO and Managing Director. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Identify and drive cross-functional and complex projects across the iGaming value chain. This includes market expansion projects and other strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop presentations and carry out research that subsequently will be presented to our owners (MGM Resorts International).
- Inject strategic and innovative thinking to key business challenges across multiple departments and jurisdictions by structuring problems, defining plans of action, and bringing them to life.
- Be hands-on and ensure that projects are delivered, initiatives undertaken and that we prioritise our efforts correctly.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Essential skills:
- Experience from a leading strategy or management consulting company or multiple years of experience working close to the C-suite and in developing company strategies, but also operationalising them – i.e., having a solid understanding of the entire strategy cycle of a company.
- Developed presentations for management and hence understand what can be expected in terms of quality and clarity.
- Academic degree, bachelor’s or preferably master’s degree – in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in digital businesses.
- A structured and data-driven approach to problem-solving, including clear problem statements, working hypothesis-driven, doing route cause analysis, and delivering synthesised recommendations with clear action points.
- A good toolbox from consulting, banking or similar, including great skills in PPT and Excel.
Nice to have skills:
- Good theoretical understanding of value creation and fluency in the financial lingo.
- Worked on highly ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders.
- iGaming experience.
