Backend Engineer - Retention

Have you worked as a Backend Developer on customised solutions? Do you have a passion for elevating and maintaining back-end services? Are you curious about what the iGaming industry can offer? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-moving, flat-structured team within LeoVegas' retention domain as a senior back-engineer!   

You will be part of developing value-generating features to provide the greatest iGaming experience possible! The retention team is responsible for facilitating the organisation with an in-house developed toolbox to supply, enhance and elevate the organisation's capabilities within our omnichannel approach to player communication. We always strive for excellence in our communication capabilities, which includes all types of transactions ranging from registration, verification, bonus & offer send-outs, and live-session communications - with a large portion of innovation.



        Build scalable, robust and efficient solutions in our full-stack team and ensure their everlasting delivery in our microservice architecture.    

        Be involved in technical discussions to challenge, propose, and evaluate, and take a guiding and supportive approach to business needs.   

        Driving your own initiatives with a high-quality mindset   

        You will work within the full chain of development, having end-to-end responsibilities   

        Collaborative work across the organisation with multiple stakeholders   

        Making sure our IT ecology is scalable and ready for upcoming expansions   






        Minimum of 3+ years experience of working as a back-end developer   

        Experience with messaging tools (i.e. Kafka)   

        Experience with microservice architecture   

        You have experience with common Java frameworks such as Spring and JPA   

        MySQL relational databases are not something new for you.   




        Experience with OpenAPI    

        Experience with BigQuery
